I grew up in the Chadwick/Milledgeville area and am still lucky to have family & friends nearby. I love raising my girls near their grandparentsand great-grandparents, similarly to how I was raised! After high school, I pursued my Bachelor's Degree at Aurora University where I studied Criminal Justice and Psychology. After a year off of schooling, I decided to go back and get my Master's Degree in Counseling. I received my Master's from Western Illinois University (in the Quad Cities) and worked as an assistant/intern at the Rock Island School District. Finally, in 2007, I joined the Eastland faculty as a part-time counselor at EMS. In 2008-2009, I began my career as the High School Counselor here at EJSHS, where I have been lucky to be ever since. I have truly enjoyed getting to know all of the students here at EJSHS. I feel blessed to work with such an amazing and caring faculty here at Eastland and look forward to many more years in the district.
