The Cougar Cafe' is open in the Media Center. Come on in and get yourself a cup.  We have Coffee, Cappuccino, Hot Cider, Tea, and Hot Chocolate available.  This is open to all faculty and students grade 9-12.  You can purchase a Coffee Punch Card for $10, get 10 cups of the beverage of your choice and then the 11th free. 7th & 8th grade students may get hot chocolate only when awarded a coupon as a reward for the Junior High Incentive Program. 

Marshmallows!!!!  .25/cup of marshmallows or you can buy a Marshmallow Card.

There is tutoring for all students who'd like homework help after school in the Media Center from 3:15-4:00pm.

National Honor Society members need to make sure to sign up for tutoring.  Every member needs to figure out a way to do their share of helping!  Sign up sheet was sent via email.

There are only 2 weeks left to reserve your copy of the yearbook for $45.

A mandatory yearbook meeting will be held TODAY during Learning Lab in the Art room. Mrs. Todd's Learning Lab is to report to Mrs. Spears' Room.  

There will be a meeting for next years HS volleyball players TODAY during Learning Lab in the weight room.

JOB OPPORTUNITIES:

Rolling Hills Progress Center is hiring immediately for 2nd shift.  If you are interested in applying for a job, sign up at Plant #1 or call 815-493-2321.  The office at plant #1 closes at 4:00 daily.  

Cliff Veesenmeyer of Veesenmeyer Painting and Remodeling of Lake Carroll is looking for a junior or senior student to work with him this summer.  If anyone is interested in a steady summer job, please see Dr. Hansen in the District Office.  


The city of Mt. Carroll is accepting applications for pool guards for the 2017 summer season.  Starting pay is $8.25 for life guarding and teaching swimming lessons. Employment starts in late May and concludes in mid August. Classes to become certified as a Lifeguard will be held in Savanna this spring.  Approximate cost is $75. Employment applications are available in your high school office. If you have any questions, contact Mt. Carroll city hall.
