SADD

Purpose: Students against Destructive Decisions is designed to spread information to students about making good decisions. Topics that are discussed are distracted driving, drunk driving, drugs, and other issues related to teenagers in today's society.

Meetings: We typically try to meet two days a month during Learning Lab but it varies based on the time of year and students schedules.

Requirements: Must be in grades 8-12 as well as having no disciplinary issues associated with the topics we are discouraging.

Yearly Activities: Red Ribbon Week; Operation Teen Safe Driving (Decided Yearly); Prom Mock Accident (Every 4 years); Bake Sales, Potty Presses, Illinois Dome Shift, and WCCI Radio Day

Expectations: Expectations are to attend bi-monthly meetings and participate in yearly activities. SADD is a student run organization, and needs strong leadership from its members to fulfill its purpose.
