The Cougar Cafe' is open in the Media Center. Come on in and get yourself a cup.  We have Coffee, Cappuccino, Hot Cider, Tea, and Hot Chocolate available.  This is open to all faculty and students grade 9-12.  You can purchase a Coffee Punch Card for $10, get 10 cups of the beverage of your choice and then the 11th free. 7th & 8th grade students may get hot chocolate only when awarded a coupon as a reward for the Junior High Incentive Program. 

Marshmallows!!!!  .25/cup of marshmallows or you can buy a Marshmallow Card.
0 punches (cups of marshmallows) for $2.00. 


All Students should be paying off any fines & fees they might owe.

HS Track end of the year banquet will be Tuesday, May 30th at 6pm.

Don't forget to sign up for next years HS softball team in the office.

High School Student Council go to Mr. Eich's room after you turn in your laptop at the end of the day.

If you would like to attend a week-long trip to Springfield we are looking for a Junior boy to attend 
"Boy's State".  Learn how the American political system works.  See the flyer on the bulletin board outside of the office for more details.  

Students who are interested in helping with the Lanark Community Vacation Bible School June 19-22 can stop by the office for a registration form.  Volunteers do not pay the registration fee - just complete the bottom contact information and drop off your form in the office.  


Mullen's Detassling:  Looking for summer work?  If you are interested, detasseling season is just around the corner. The starting pay for a first and second year worker is $9.50/hour.  If you are a returning worker with three or more years of experience, the wage is $10.00/hour. Application packets and more information about the job are in the office.  If you would like to work this summer, please pick up an application and return it to the office. The deadline to have your application packet turned in to the office is May 19th.  

Rolling Hills Progress Center is hiring immediately for 2nd shift.  If you are interested in applying for a job, sign up at Plant #1 or call 815-493-2321.  The office at plant #1 closes at 4:00 daily.  

Cliff Veesenmeyer of Veesenmeyer Painting and Remodeling of Lake Carroll is looking for a junior or senior student to work with him this summer.  If anyone is interested in a steady summer job, please see Dr. Hansen in the District Office.  

The city of Mt. Carroll is accepting applications for pool guards for the 2017 summer season.  Starting pay is $8.25 for life guarding and teaching swimming lessons. Employment starts in late May and concludes in mid August. Classes to become certified as a Lifeguard will be held in Savanna this spring.  Approximate cost is $75.
